Nowadays I keep waking up later and later, everyday later by 2minutes, making me rush like mad to bathe, get changed and eat and walk to school. I stay at Simei and I walk to school. No biggie, but yeah probably most people would take the bus. This year I've yet to be late, not even close to late yet. My record this year was 7.00pm (I got 7.05pm like that last year, miraculously) that I left home and still reached school relatively on time. And I never sweat while walking to school.

Why?
Magic.

Nah, its all tips and tricks to save time. It's the walking to school part not the bathing and changing and eating part that save time. Learn how cut a 20minutes walk to school into like 12 minutes. 5 easy tricks.

1. Walk diagonally. Cut through hdb blocks, jaywalking, walk on grass (they are your friend). Avoid pavements. Go over not around things. Simplest of things.

2. Know your route well. This will require some time to get used to. If you walk to school like for almost everyday for 2 years of your life, you probably know every corners and shortcuts to take, and that save plenty amount of time.

3. Learn how to jaywalk. People wait and wait for the traffic light to start, such dumbasses. Jaywalking is not a crime, so shalap. Learn to use the road dividers. Know the timing that you will need to reach to the other side before the cars come. Walk sideways along the pavements, at least you are making progress. Walk faster if you have to, go between cars when theres traffic jams, keep a look out for oncoming cars and get your timing right. Master the art of jaywalking.

4. Keep track of your time before leaving your home. You would probably roughly know how long you will take to reach school and you can adjust your pace. Learn to tell time by looking at the clouds. When you leave your house at 7.05pm don't expect to walk chillingly to school obviously. Something so simple, yet effective.

5. Lastly, kinda childish or retarded but usually I like to eye someone infront of me and chase them up, by just walking faster (bigger footsteps, quicker footsteps). Once I overtaken them, I'll eye for another one up infront, and repeat. I don't know I use those people as some point to catch up so I'll be faster.

Ok this post is random.
Not like it is unexpected.
