it wasn't a really great day to start off with today.
got rudely awakened by loud snoring from fellow hostel roommates, it was raining... and then i had to shift my house to a random german guy whom is pretty weird and doesn't speak much. so i didn't do much except for waiting for the rain to stop and went to walk around the city (which didn't amount to anything - i really can't see myself doing actual touristy stuff... lol.) i had a fewwwww nice shots but that's it.
i headed to glorias hoping to find the FREE gym tony was talking about, called him several times and he didn't pick up, so i went off, sulking, bored, knowing that i'll probably waste the day at home. but he returned his call when i was about to reach the station and said that he can bring me there. so i went back. awesome, training time.
the gym is not the kind of gym you expect. nothing much, just a few mats and a runway so you can do flips. but it was a superb experience for me. there were a lot of circus guys and breakdancers too, which was amazing to look at.
i met a guy over there who spoke decent english, he taught me some tips on twisting and it did help! i was practicing corkscrews and fulls, felt that i improved a slight bit! we connected quite well, something i haven't felt for awhile (altho yes, its technically only day 2, but it feels really long somehow :/). will definitely wanna meet him again at the gym if it rains/monday when i have to stay at Clot (hostel) again.
i guess it reminded me why i booked the return tix for 2 months - because of HARDCORE TRAINING! screw all the loneliness and bugging worries, i definitely want to improve my twists and jumps, and now i have all the time to do it.
tmr i'll meet more spanish guys, hopefully it'll be fun! just speak through movement. it'll be louder than words.
