So it's day 5 of Melbourne now.
Faculty orientation today. Except for the freebies, I didn't really quite get why I actually came to Uni today... Just lame lectures and shit.
Had some tour around school, got into a group but just felt really fake the entire time. Reminded me of poly camp days, talking to people you don't exactly care about... Haha. But whatever, it's school and o's week, so it happens.
The thing is though, most people here are young af, given that I'm a Singaporean who already got his diploma and served two years of NS. So this orientation thing is catered to fresh secondary school graduates for their first year of Uni... And I, on the other hand, is jumping straight to year 3. So all these people I'm meeting now aren't gonna be my classmates (wouldn't even see them around much), and I'm guessing my classmates are already in their seperate cliques so it's gonna be hard for me to fit in... Kinda.
Not even sure if I'm gonna go for the amazing race thing tmr. Just bunch of year ones messing about. True enough, it's a good opportunity to meet ppl, however I gotta settle stuff like finding accomodation... So I'm just gonna wake up early tmr and decide if I'm going for this shit.
Also, swinburne explorers/cheerleading/frisbee... I guess joining clubs can help me meet more people? Haha.
Hatta went to some house visiting with me today. Money is such a big problem. Unfurnished house really troublesome. Good furnished house, expensive and inconvenient. Sigh. Tmr we gonna do more house visits. So lucky to be saving a week's rent already tbh...

PS: Currently free enough to post every night. Only thing abt me and blogging is that I type a lot but kinda slow... So it does take me a bit of time to write a blogpost sometimes...
