Day 57:
Things are looking slightly better recently.

On the topic of finding a job... here are the upcoming opportunities:
1) Bounce is going to start group interviews next week and I'm one of the main candidates for their next opening so I think it's just a matter of time till I land this job... although there are a lot of procedures and trainings that will take place before being able to work part-time proper. So fingers crossed!
2) The cafe right outside my house are looking to expand and have more working hours thus the need for extra staff. I came in to ask at a pretty good timing and it seems to be that I'll be the first person they'll talk to once that happens.
2.1) Cafe No. 2 is also pushing me to get a job, made friends with a guy who works there and he seems nice enough to help me fight for an interview.
3) Deliveroo is the next candidate that can possibly land me a job, on the process of getting some paperwork settled, but I think that will still take a few more weeks...
4) Rivoli Cinemas (cinema right down my street) is looking to hire more people and I hope I'm one of their choices...

I regretted not sticking to the Thai restaurant job for the time being so that I could earn extra cash despite the shitty lower-than-minimum wage... but it's too late to head back to them now.

Still jobless after almost 2 months, not sure what am I doing with my free time here... lol.

Other than Melbourne opportunities, here are some other external career-related offers:
1) Redbull Singapore finally replied to me, expressing interest to have further talks about it... but then an email is just an email so I thinking what else can happen from this. Hopefully big things!
2) Shine Festival is looking to have more external athletes for this year's performance. Maybe I'll fly back to perform for this and hopefully break even or even get them to fly me back... Who knows.
3) AAPES have told me they have me high up on their list of future sponsorships. Obviously very pleased about that and I think it can be one big opportunity I can look into if I really wanna make a career out of this.

Had a quick chat with friends about future goals and it seems bleak that migration is going to happen, your home country will always be the place where you can develop the most in, and maybe I just have to make something out of nothing in Singapore... First ever legit PK Gym in SG? Coaching? Having our own star athlete team (Parolye)? Making my own films/production company? Freelance? Not sure...

I wonder if I do head back, what kind of full-time jobs can I get...

Oh well.

We finally had our Sofa and TV in the living room! And for a bargain as well. We can finally organize our house warming party!

Andre and his girlfriend will be staying at our's for two months and hopefully we won't face any problems from the landlord (because people are not supposed to be residing at our premises other than Hatta and myself). They'll help with the rent and take the load of our backs a little.

Last night we did the Church mission in Camberwell. Pretty happy that we did it, something to remember. Almost didn't do it after countless of time saying that we'll do the climb, but we knew we had to do it at some point and last night was that 'some point'. Yay to impromptu missions!

Today I cooked brownies and I'd like to think it's the best tasting food I've ever created!! (Although if you eat too many you'll get sick of it quick)

Had some trainings done in Camberwell and Bounce this week and feel that my body is still kinda shitty (shoulder's not fully healed, back gets easily exhausted from gymming, ankle fucks up every now and then), not sure when I can finally train at 100% again. Maybe I should just focus on gymming.

Running out of things to say so I guess this is the end of the post!
