Day 64:

Struggling to think of something different from last week's post and I can't quite think of anything lol.

Went for my first serious job interview this week at Bounce. It was hectic and so many other people also went for the interview so it was daunting to say the least. However I believe my experience and persistence speaks for something if it wasn't just leaving good first impressions. I am pretty confident in landing the job but it's not set in stone yet so I don't wanna get too high hopes.

Anan also contacted me asking if I am in Singapore and if I could be involved in the promotional video of Bounce. Obviously I am interested but because of shitty timing, I am stucked in Melbourne not being able to accept good jobs from my home country... Have spoken to the Venue Manager of Bounce SG (He's here in Melbourne) and he'll get his marketing director to talk to me. He told me too that that if I get a job here, I'll be able to do a transfer once I head back! Also, there'll be a freerun terrain park in Bounce SG too. Pretty cool stuff.

Deliveroo finally called me and set me up with an actual onboarding session this Tuesday. So I have to ride my bike to St. Kilda and show them my bike and do some trial stuff before being fully accepted as a Deliveroo rider. I'm pretty keen! All the emailing and waiting and buying the bike is finally paying off... I hope. Still, nothing is confirmed but seems pretty likely that I'll land this too.

Went back to the cafe and asked if they could hire me earlier too, but unfortunately not although they are starting to expand soon and I'll be the first one on the list.

Pretty much by May I'll be employed with 2, if not 3 jobs. So life's going to get busy and productive (finally) again. Can't wait for that. Have been lazing for too long.

Gym has been super good recently. I got my 120kg x 5reps again, pretty solidly, and also did a 110kg for 8 reps... It was scary to think achieving 5 reps in the past was a feat already, but now I evidently got stronger. Week 3/6 of the routine next week! Loving it.

Not much parkour related jumps tho I'm just pretty much going to spot to spot moving and doing whatever that I want to do as opposed to looking to achieve goals... shoulder still isn't fully healed so I can't go full out yet... Definitely do wanna look into getting sick shots for my Melbourne video but I haven't really got time for that. Maybe I should do so soon since all the jobs are going to start to pour in.... Damn.

It was 420 this week and we did a fair bit in celebration of it and then we did some more yesterday night. Doing way too much recently and definitely will run out by housewarming this Sat and I think that'll be the end of it. Hopefully jobs will come in and I will have no time for that anymore so my productivity levels will increase.

And anyway, to end off...

One significant thing that was different this week is the fact that I spent 3 nights in a row skyping 3 hours to someone pretty special who makes me really want to come back to Singapore. Sometimes you try so hard to find someone when you don't realize that person was there the whole time. Life works in funny ways...
