Day 291:
It's December already. Melbourne life is soon going to end. Still feeling really underachieved with my time here.
November was a month spent almost purely working, while juggling my Russian Squat Routine in between breaks. I would says I've been really productive in that aspect. I've definitely been watching my movies than usual, although I'm not sure how productive I would considering watching movies are... Hmmm.
Big news this week is that I managed to beat my previous record of $1.6k in 2 weeks by almost a full $1000. $2505 in 2 weeks - that's more than $150/day for 2 weeks. And also did $1k in 4 days. The Foodora x Deliveroo hack is probably the best decision I made. Sped things up for sure. Also Thursdays and Saturdays off so in fact if I had more shifts and dedicated a full two weeks or pure work, the record can still be bettered.
I'm pretty obsessed with numbers and somewhat enjoying the hustle, although I'm not quite sure if I can keep up with this rate. Another 3 more weeks of work left, with another 2k for two more fortnightly payslips, I would be more then contented - that should mean I'll be hitting my target of $14,000! Will definitely miss this easy money flowing in by the weekly, something you can't get in Singapore... Wonder how long I can last without a standard income when I head back...
Another big news: I will probably be moving out of my Rowell Avenue house by the end of this month/year. January on would mean living rent-free and thus I'd just work really periodically (on boring rest days) in Fitzroy just for extra additional savings for travels here. Can definitely do with a change in the routine. This also means I'll have to start selling all these furnitures and get back some more money (including bond) so I'll be rich again!
4 weeks down in the RSR and it's going way well. I haven't missed any reps and have been doing higher weights/reps than targeted. If I don't hit the 140 this time, I wouldn't know what to say. 2 more weeks to go! Then it's time to train parkour even more frequently. Can't wait. As for improvement in jump strength, it's not quite evident yet - my bodyweight is still higher than what I want it to be, which I think is something I should work on if I really wanna see the full results of this routine...
Finally went out to train again and to be honest I still haven't quite feel satisfied with my current level. This week was exceptionally bad as I got myself injured in all places so many times. I'm honestly feel so out of touch with my body, with normal jumps scaring me more than usual and always feel less powerful than I feel I should be. I really need to focus on not bailing for an entire month because for 9 years of training, the rate of injuries I am currently at is truly unacceptable... Will have to rest this out and hope that my body recovers quickly.
Each time I push myself to do something new and tick away my bucket list goals, there's just something stopping me from getting it. I may be thinking I have time left but truthfully I don't... I have really limited time off work. If it's not the typical 'not strong enough' then it's the security telling us to fuck off, or getting injured unexpectedly (as explained before), or shitty weather... Or having my fucking clips formatted without transferred to computer... Life finds all ways to make things harder for you. Ugh.
I'm feeling really motivated to start my plans when I head back home, but I am already foreseeing problems. Can I really last that 30 days challenge? The weather wouldn't be perfect for all days. What if I get injured which I think there's a pretty high chance of happening? Will I have enough people that will be in this with me? And will I stay motivated throughout? Or maybe I'm just worrying too much.
Gotta definitely work on my focus in life.
