-delayed post, supposedly 5th July-

Hustle season is over for a bit. But breaks are only for losers and we don't have much time for dilly dallying. Already onto a new list of goals and new things to work hard for.

LCG 2018 was probably another level of stress compared to LCG 2017. Despite one year of experience handling such an event, we are still super fresh and definitely have lots to learn. So much last minute shiz and same old mistakes. But we have definitely worked a lot harder and spent much more time in trying to make this happen. It showed in the end - definitely super happy that the event went as smoothly and the competition was such a success. However, still being on deficit leaves me so many thoughts and I'm already deciding how we can just minimize every cost for next year's.

Little rants just because: I wasn't really able to train on a setup that we spent 10k on. I didn't have much time to mingle with the guests just because there's so much going on. The effort about running the event is one thing, but not being able to participate fully is probably the biggest bummer of it all. I want to be a special guests as well! Free from responsibilities. But I guess it's still a decade away from happening.

Through LCG and PKSG, I've learnt how to...
- Become an aspiring architect, designing and working out a set up that isn't too complicated and costly, yet interesting enough. (of course Sketch Up knowledge too)
- On top of my video-making skills for promo videos, using Photoshop to design posters/name cards and learning about printing was something to add to my list of skills
- Logo designing! Basic Illustrator work… and some design knowledge
- Emails emails emails. Don't have to work an office job to fully understand the email life.
- Reaching out and trying to talk and liaise with malls, government bodies, sponsors! (it's not always about you, it's about how you can help them...)
- Tons of proposal writing, putting what I learnt in secondary school to real life work.
- Figuring out PKSG finances, market research with event and class prices, and working out the right amount for the fees so that we don't lose too much, not miss out on too much.
- Needa learn more about Excel tho.
- More admin work with clothing printing, lotsa screw up this year so definitely need more work on this.
- Coaching all ages and running workshops, and learning how to manage classes of our own. (Level up classes and The Yard)
- Working on web designing - think I'm going to delve in to learn about more about html/css
- Social media management (both Denester and Parkour Singapore!)
- Reaching out to people whom will help you (PR)
- A lot more that I can't think of right now, but just general responsibility and having to be a jack of all trades...

-cut out here cos no time to finish-
